Hi Friend,
If you enjoy the Saturday Economist ... why not refer a friend ...
Our readership is growing. Our open rates have never been higher. We are improving our coverage. Our What the Papers Review every morning has great reviews. Our social media reach is over one million every month. Our focus is maintained on economics, strategy and social media. So how can we improve our offer to you, Friend?

First, let's make sure we are connected on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.  It's a great way to keep in touch for news and updates. Just click on the links to make the move! Don't miss our What the Papers Say review on Twitter every morning from 08:30!

Second, we are improving our feedback with "Ask Nicely" to monitor our Net Promoter Score [NPS]. Our readers will be sampled through the month. Great comments so far on The Saturday Economist ... we like this one!

"It keeps us up to date with the real economic situation, it doesn't pull punches and amuses."

Yep we don't pull punches and we so seek to amuse! If you do receive the [NPS] email from us ... let us know your views and how you rate The Saturday Economist. Your comments and support are much appreciated.

Next, this month we will be launching our Saturday Economist library and forum. Background notes to the weekly updates will be available on line. You can list any questions you may have and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Finally, this week we removed two and a half thousand emails from our mailing list as part of our list cleaning exercise. We are inviting just 1000 to join the list this month. If you enjoy The Saturday Economist, why not refer to a friend or colleague. If they have an interest in economics and how it will affect their own business, they can sign up for the regular FREE news and updates. Just forward the email, they can SIGN UP! with just a click ... The Saturday Economist - now in the sixth year of publication with over 300 updates to date ...

As always your support is much appreciated,

Warmest Regards,
John

Refer a friend!: here's a few reasons why!

Economics updates : Hard to believe I know! I have been studying economics for over fifty years. I picked up my first economics textbooks in 1964, completing A levels in 1966. Studying at LSE from 1967 to 1970, my later life PhD was completed 2000 - 2005. Business interfered with the process in between!
