We have updated our Labor Market Chart Book following the release of the latest data this week. Confused by the numbers? Unemployment fell, earnings jumped and vacancies increased to 758,000. Businesses are reporting recruitment difficulties but over 3 million were still on furlough at the end of April. The Chancellor will offer no extension to the furlough scheme at the end of September
