As you know by now, we are in love with Italian food but above all with innovation.
We have introduced something really new to our assortment this time around, something you have never heard of in our newsletters before.
Now we have some very tasty snacks with a special ingredient: spirulina algae.
In particular, we have two snacks: sweet bars and chips flavored with pepper and rosemary.

Vegan
These snacks contain 100% vegetable protein.
Healthy
The spirulina algae are very rich in vitamins and mineral salts, for example it has the whole group of vitamin B, then vitamin, K, A, E, then it is very rich in iron, calcium, beta-carotene and phycocyanin. Furthermore, it is rich in vegetable proteins (60g out of every 100g of product).
Sustainable production
The whole production process takes place according to the "circular economy" perspective, in fact the spirulina grows and develops thanks to the heat recovered from the biogas system in the laboratory, while the culture water after harvesting can return to the tank or used for irrigation of the cereal crops adjacent to the laboratory. In addition, since Spirulina is a plant organism, it uses photosynthesis to grow, this means that our production takes CO2 from the environment, in fact spirulina absorbs much more of it than it consumes the entire production cycle.
