This year, we will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of Saint Gianna’s Canonization by Saint (Pope) John Paul II on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. There will be regularly-scheduled Sunday Masses (schedule: 8 a.m., 10 a.m. & noon) at Nativity of Our Lord Parish if you wish to attend mass on her Feast Day (Sunday, April 28) at the location of her shrine. However, there will not be an event sponsored by the Society of Saint Gianna Beretta Molla on Sunday, April 28, 2019.
The 15th Anniversary Canonization Celebration Mass will be held in the Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church located at 605 W Street Road in Warminster, PA 18974 on Thursday, May 16, 2019, starting at 6:30 p.m.
For more information, check out our website located at https://saintgianna.org. In early-March, we will be sending out our Novena mailing to our eNewsletter subscribers and via USPS service for those who have elected to receive non-digital communications so you will have plenty of time to prepare your Petitions for the celebration Mass. We will begin the celebration with a host-led Rosary recitation by those in attendance at 6:30 p.m.; followed by a Mass celebrated by Father Addisalem Mekonnen, and ending with a cake-and-coffee reception in the Nativity of Our Lord Parish's auditorium in the basement of the Church.
Saint Gianna’s First-Class Relic (strands of her hair encased in our beautiful reliquary) will be on hand so attendees can venerate the First-Class relic and Second-Class relics. We will provide Saint Gianna prayer cards, novena pamphlets, medals, and hand-made rosary beads for veneration of Saint Gianna's First-Class and Second-Class relics following Mass.
In addition, in the auditorium downstairs from the church, we will have our online store items available for sale should you wish to purchase an item for veneration of Saint Gianna’s First-Class and Second-Class relics.
All are welcome to attend. So please mark your calendars on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., and we hope to see you at the celebration!
God Bless You and Your Families,
