MARCHINGTON MUSIC CLUB (SUNDAYS FROM 5.30PM)
It’s Easter already and have we got a real honey of a gig for you.
Accordion main man L’IL JIM pairs up L’il Rooster’s songstress HAZEL SCOTT in a combination we have not witnessed yet but knowing them from their usual combos we know we are in for an entertaining afternoon and to top it all it’s not a school day next day (bank holiday) so you can let your hair down! Fun starts around 5.30pm!
LOCAL BOY DONE GOOD
Home grown talent!! Richard Castle joins us on Thursday April 19th to show off his debut solo CD release!
We be playing back the album on the night and we might even get Richard to knock out a few tunes!
Richard Castle’s new solo album comes straight from the heart of a young man living bang in the middle of rural England. From tales of zany characters tearing up market towns, to battling inner demons and a healthy mistrust of the establishment, One-horse Town is a satirical but sincere journey through Castle’s over-active psyche.
It’s free admission and the fun starts around 8pm-ish!
Put it in the diary!

GIN 5 (NOW MOVED TO THIS FRIDAY MARCH 30TH)
A bit of a cock up on our behalf, we forgot it was quiz and pledge night at the village Hall that same evening and we feel sure most people will go along to give that their support and this evening would be greatly overshadowed, so to benefit all it’s now the 30th March and we will issue new posters to that effect !
It’s back with a whole brand new batch of gins for you to try and we are joined by our local Schweppes representative to ply you with their new range of mixers to accompany said gins, so lots of free samples and by the end of the night you may discover the right gin and the right accompaniment for it.
It’s free admission and it starts around 7.30pm see you there!!
