MARCHINGTON MELEE 10 (FRI 18-SUN 20 AUGUST)
A week Friday MELEE 10 is upon us!
I am sure you are all aware of what’s going on, after all, over the past few weeks that’s all we have talked about, and with only a short time to go we’ll keep up the assault!
Quick mention to THE SHELTER who make their third visit to the pub and who will close the proceedings on the Sunday afternoon at the music club!
Powerhouse four piece whose roots seem to be steeped in old classic punk, show us their unplugged side, fun starts around 5.30pm a week on Sunday!

MARCHINGTON MUSIC CLUB (Sundays from 5.30pm)

This Sunday sees the second visit from powerhouse blues outfit THE BACKLINE BLUES BAND from sunny Burton upon Trent, whose amps go all the way up to eleven!! That’s one louder!
So if you want a raunchy end to a perfect weekend these are the geezers.
KEEP IT CASH/DARK SIDE OF THE WALL
A few weeks since we gave these gigs a mention, they are creeping up on us Johnny Cash TRIBUTE October 21st and Pink Floyd 2nd December.
To date both gigs have got off to a very healthy start with over 50 for each gig already sold, expect panic buying as the gigs get nearer, you have been warned!

The tickets have arrived! Limited to 85, same format as previous couple of years, fifteen pounds a ticket, tapas style buffet and this year we have secured the services of the excellent covers outfit THE SILICONE TAXIS !

CHRISTMAS DAY
Already over half way sold out, so if you are thinking of joining us on the special day, now would be a good time to make plans call 01283-820394
The price remains the same as last year at £60 per person, four courses, two sittings 12 noon and 3-3.30 pm.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE MENU
Now taking individual and group bookings, the Christmas offer commences Monday 4th through until Christmas eve. The menus will be up on the website by the end of the week
MONTHLY FISH NIGHT
There isn’t one for the last Friday of this month as we are closed for a private function, the next one is the last Friday in September
