Hi there,
Melee 9 music and beer festival now behind us and overall a reasonably successful affair. The weather somewhat against us again but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm and turnout was good. All the bands delivered and were well received.
We are not sure yet about the dates for the Summer festival, more thought will go into that over the coming weeks, but going forward it may be that we concentrate on one festival a year to make that more of an event. Basically it's a considerable amount of hard work but it's more about the side projects such as the tribute band nights that have been doing so well. We'll see!

This week we see the return of the oh so popular SOUTHBOUND, a roots Americana outfit that blew everyone away on their first visit and we look forward to their return this coming Sunday.
We expect this gig to be popular so come early to get a seat.
For more information about them, see here.
Southbound are a kicking five piece band who play a lively mixture of Country Rock and Americana. Think Austin Texas not Nashville. It's music with an edge and a backbeat that rocks. Talented, multi-instrumentalists playing great songs with classy three part harmonies and tasty solos.
Songs by the likes of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Old Crow Medicine Show and Hank Williams with some Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry and blistering bluegrass banjo solos thrown in for good measure. Classic Honky Tonk!
