Marchington Music Club
Dreams of Fleetwood Mac caused quite a sing-a-long stir on Sunday and is welcomed from time to time to break the ice, however back down to serious business- BLACK WATER-remember them? Been a little while, the duo that is L’il Jim (various combo’s) and Paul Evans ( from the dearly departed MOJOSA), well they are back this Sunday from 5.30 pm ! BRYAN ADAMS EXPERIENCE
Locals will know all the details by now but for the next eight weeks leading up to the next Tribute Band night we will bring you more pictures and information on the band, the UK’s top Bryan Adams Tribute band.
Formed in 1997, based in Teesside England to replicated live performances that can only be surpassed by Bryan Adams himself!

QUIZ
When will the quizzes return a few folks have asked recently, well to be honest I don’t really know, sadly work load has kept me a little busy this year and I have enjoyed the 9pm-ish closing on Sundays after a very long day!
It has been suggested a few quizzes with guest question masters, ok I am all ears who is up to the challenge?
I would suggest a date close to Halloween for a spooky quiz as we have put the Halloween supper to bed until next year.
We have had one before, you know, picture movie stills round, music round-ghostbusters etc, famous horror writers, that sort of thing?
If it was to be fund raising associated may I suggest the Alms House restoration project we have embarked upon?

The on-going restoration of the Villages Alms houses project continues, the next opportunities to assist by attending certain events are as follows-

REMEMBRANCE DAY SUPPER
“WE’LL EAT AGAIN!"
Authentic wartime supper on Thursday November 10th 7.30pm, two course meal and wartime sing-a-long with JOHNNY VICTORY !!
Priced at £19.95 (fiver from every meal to the Alms House funds) and a prize draw on the night, 40’s style dress optional but I am led to believe we have some wartime memorabilia being loaned to make the event authentic!
