Marchington Music Club
This week sees the welcome return of RAY HATFIELD & KEITH BUCK who blew everyone away on their last visit (sadly I was on holiday then but I heard excellent reports and cannot wait!).
They are former members of 70’s rockers WISHBONE ASH so of great pedigree.

AMERICAN FESTIVAL WEEKEND (July 1-3)
Two weeks to go and before that another update!
Here is a pic of the 34ft long AIRSTREAM RV , PRISCILLA that will be visiting for the weekend, come on down, come on board and see a great slice of American history and hear how from a simple e-bay purchase this monstrous vehicle was driven from Colorado to Derby! All part of the great weekend’s activities!!! |

Our headlining band on the Saturday night is HILLBILLY JUKE BOX
Hillbilly Jukebox, play classic rock and pop covers in a hillbilly style. The 4 piece outfit feature banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, bass and percussion.
All 4 members have many years experience playing in various bands and writing their own material but for Hillbilly Jukebox the boys plunder the world of classic well known rock and pop songs and cover them with a redneck twist.
It's got a foot stomping good time time feel.

Talking about another old timer with a remarkable CV, Chris Hall who was the original founder of the UK’s former top Cajun band R.CAJUN,
And who went onto to work with Sir Paul McCartney, Kate Bush other other top stars was a recent topic of subject of the internet page ACCESS ALL AREAS, here is said article.

Not a lot really to tell you that you don’t already know, apart from when the weather finally breaks why not try our Tuesday TAPAS, we have the food and if we have the weather we have the patio! (every Tuesday until September).
