Geoff our new MC on the open mic hails from Stoke on Trent and in his wake has brought some excellent new musicians in from that neck of the woods, pop down and see for yourselves 8.30 onwards

Marchington Music Club
This Sunday sees the return of Big Joe Bone.
Went down so well a couple of months back we have managed to get a return visit from Banjo player extraordinaire from his tight schedule of gigs into the new year!
Playing a blend of blue grass, delta blues, old-time gospel and hillbilly delivered with raspy vocals and hard driving harmonica rhythms and bottleneck slide guitar, steel bodied guitars and five string banjo’s!!!!!

Fridge Aid
As reported a few weeks back, our local favourite shop is in need of two new fridges, so we decided at D&P towers to give them a helping hand in the form of a couple of fund raisers.
The first one, this side of Christmas, is on Thursday 19TH NOVEMBER and takes the form of a BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU evening, in honour of the much celebrated seasonal wine!
The evening format is as follows, a three course meal for £19.95 with a fiver from every meal going to the shop fund and on EVERY BOTTLE of Beaujolais we sell a further fiver !
We have 50 places, so come on now is the time to step up and help us help the Marchington village shop!
There will be raffle on the night too!
(at this year’s cancer research night a similar format raised close to £700!!!!!)
