MARCHINGTON MELEE 8 (August 4th - 7th)
The festival starts at 6pm today (Thursday) and goes through the whole weekend!
Over the past few weeks we have been telling you all about the bands, so what about the beers I hear you ask?
Well expect some Olympics orientated titles and beers from the likes of RAN, LEATHERBRITCHES, TUDOR, COTTAGE and XT breweries, twenty over the weekend, eight racked and five continually changing pumps on the bar, priced at the usual pub prices.
There will be a charity push on behalf of the local Alms houses, with all funds from beaker sales (£1.50) going to assist in the restoration of the said houses, a one off payment.
So what you waiting for come on down and join the fun!! (so far weather forecasts are looking promising!)

Marchington Music Club
As part of the Melee presentation we incorporate the Sunday session to finish what we hope will be a great weekend.
SOUTHBOUND are the band in question , a five piece from Derby, who provide a nice mix of country and Americana.

Only weeks away from an exciting new menu created by our new chef HANI OSMAN.
So far we have trailed a few new dishes as specials and they have been enthusiastically received! Watch this space!
CHRISTMAS DAY
This week has witnessed a lot of phone traffic reference Christmas day so be a good time to give your attendance some thought???

Other Christmas Fayre menus will follow shortly and will be pretty much along the same lines as previous years where items will be individually priced as opposed to a set menu to prevent the “ I only wanted two courses, I can’t eat three" etc etc.
