Interview:
The World Will
Change Forever
This interview on the global impact of the Coronavirus was conducted by Tony Femino for the Voice To America podcast on March 19th.

While the world has changed dramatically since then, there are numerous parts of this interview that many of you may still find of particular interest.

Tony and I have been friends for many years. Our conversation begins with a discussion of how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected me personally, in terms of the way my wife and I live in Asia.

Next, I explained what policymakers in the United States would need to do urgently to prevent the US economy from collapsing into a Depression. Fortunately, US policymakers have moved quickly and taken many important steps in the right direction since then.

Tony and I also spent a lot of time discussing China and its future. Can China’s economy recover from the domestic and worldwide repercussions of this crisis? What will US-Chinese diplomatic and economic relations be like once the pandemic has ended?

Here’s a clue: The World Will Change Forever
