Yup. The IT geek got some leads - over 7,000 people just like you. He even got some people to make a phone call to join the community. One or two parted with some cash - even the famous Andrea Wilson - Google her.
Time will tell if he can become anything more than a bean counter and an IT geek.
Truth is, you all signed up for a reason. Somehow the review and optimize process will find out what it was. If not, down the gurgler you will go.
