First here are some tips regarding working from home and making a living online.
- Treat your online business just like you would any normal 9 to 5 job. Set the hours you want to work and commit to them without excuses. The good side is you can choose the hours which suit you best and decide how many days a week you would like to work.
- Plan everything to a tee. Decide what you main goal for this month is, break it down to what's required this week, give each week a "must complete" important task, then break down each day, where you do at least one productive task to move towards your main goal every day.
- Set goals and track your results. Is it 1,000 new leads by the end of the month or 100 new customers? Track how much it cost you to acquire your leads, and how much sales you made. Keep in mind the long term revenue from customers. If you're breaking even while building your business, you're doing very well.
- Don't let social media and your inbox distract you. Check your email and Facebook once per day, maximum twice limiting your time to a few minutes only each visit. Spend the rest of your time being productive and moving forward in your business.
