Subject: My profound horrible realization...

I got this message from Kam today - it is an amazing sample of Email Fire. Read it to the end and imagine its power

“By this art you may contemplate the variation of the 23 letters.... “

That’s how it started. My profound horrible realization...

I used to say that the internet contains the collective of the world’s knowledge and that we are all so lucky to have such a resource at our fingertips…

...but then I came to a simple yet horrible realization.

Now rest assured, I will tell you my realization and how this all comes back around to how to make money online, have no fear, before that though, we have to go back to yesterday...

I was reading an 8 page short story. It wasn’t just any old short story either. This was one of those pieces of writing that has trapped people in a rabid obsession for years.

It was written in 1941, and to this day, people still obsess over it. Games have been inspired by it. Entire websites have been devoted to it. Countless hours have been wasted pondering the meaning of it.

I’ve wasted a few myself, I must admit.

The story is called “The Library of Babel” and it’s by a guy named Jorge Luis Borges.

Borges was...wait for...a librarian, and in his “Library of Babel” short story he paints a very interesting picture.

Let me explain...

Imagine, that you live in a universe that is a vast library containing all possible 410-page books of a certain format and character set.

I’m talking about every possible ordering of just 25 basic characters (22 letters, the period, the comma, and space).

This “library” universe consists of an enormous expanse of adjacent hexagonal rooms. That’s all it is. Hexagon room after hexagon room, over and over again.

In each room, there is an entrance on one wall, the bare necessities for human survival on another wall, and four walls of bookshelves.

There are two lights in every room providing “insufficient and unceasing” light. Those are Borges words and he is basically saying that it wasn't enough light and yet the lights never went out.

The order and content of the books are random and seem to be completely meaningless.

All the bookshelves are all filled with these 410 page books, containing every combination of these 25 basic characters.

Though the vast majority of the books in this universe are pure gibberish, you realize that the library also must contain, somewhere, every coherent book ever written…

...or that might ever be written, and every possible permutation or slightly erroneous version of every one of those books.

So basically, it contains everything. All the truths, all the lies, and all the variations in between.

You realize that the library must contain all useful information, including predictions of the future, biographies of any person, and translations of every book in all languages.

The problem with this, OF COURSE, is that with all of that knowledge hidden in the library…

...it would be completely useless.

You would never be able to find most of it, and when you did find it you would not be able to discern the truth from the lies...

And that brings me to my realization.
Borges’ Library of Babel, is a little like today’s internet.

The internet is NOT just a “wealth of knowledge” at your fingertips. Maybe when I first started saying that it was correct...but now?
Now, in 2020, that’s not exactly right anymore.

It’s also a wealth of opinions, a wealth of lies, a wealth of posturing and flaws…

...it’s basically a vast reflection of everything great and everything horrible about us as human beings.

And that...makes it a very confusing place.

A lot LESS useful than it’s creators probably ever intended.

In Borges’ Library of Babel, the occupants of that universe were all very unhappy. They were all in various stages of trying to find meaning and purpose. But they generally failed at it often.

Can you relate? THIS IS OUR REALITY RIGHT NOW

Maybe you have been combing the internet, scouring the “make money online” offers and emails…

...looking for that one, true thing.

You will find it, of that I am sure. Just don’t give up. The major difference between Borges’ Library of Babel and our internet is that we have the ability to escape the internet.

That gives us the ability to have perspective.

And perspective is a beautiful thing.

I wanted to let you know I have just published the third installment of Email Fire...Email Fire 3.

==> Explore Email Fire 3 Right Now <==

It’s a 4 week email engagement series that is designed to build rapport and trust with a cold list. It’s for the internet marketing niche.

Yes it can be adapted to other niches, but I wrote it for the IM niche.

Email Fire 3 also has been written to test click through rates and test engagement as well. How does it do that?

Well, once a week it asks a relevant question, and once a week it links out to a valuable free resource.

The bottom line is this:

Email marketing is the key to sustainable wealth on the internet. This series will help you turn cold leads into warm buyers.

It’s perfect if you are trying to build a new list or trying to revive a dead list.

But why should you even listen to what I have to say?

Well, to that I would say this…

I started this email talking to you about Jorge Luis Borges and “The Library of Babel.”

When was the last time you had an internet marketer educate you on Argentinian literature from the 1940’s?

Hey...people pay good money for this kind of philosophical analysis
! (Lol kidding, sort of :\ )

In all seriousness though, Email Fire 3 is a great sequence that will be a workhorse of a tool for you.

I’ll be talking about this for the next few days. I have several very interesting messages planned, so sit back and buckle up…
