Let's begin with a harsh reality
Yup. Done well - built a list.
The flip side.
Yup. Done well - got a great freebie and joined a list. A great step one is to download the freebie and use it. 90% do not.
From The Iceberg Effect
"There's no point driving traffic, capturing people onto you list or following up if you're never going to make offers"
Flip side. There is no point getting your nose out of joint when the person whose list you joined starts making offers.
If you joined a great list, there is a chance the owner of the list has some great experience to find great offers
Therein lies the art - be selective in the stuff you offer. BE SELECTIVE.
In my case I only offer stuff I would use myself or stuff that comes from people I trust.
TEST: Ask yourself how much your offer will benefit your subscribers.
That is really easy to answer when you use the stuff yourself. - ''It saved me hours of work""
- "I would never have thought of that"
- ""I am rubbish at graphics""
- and more
It eventually comes down to a simple rule - treat people right and they will listen to you (maybe) for many years.
That is the heart of Focus Area #4 of The Iceberg Effect - build a sales system promoting offers you believe can help your subscribers.
By now you will see the power of what is in Chapter 5 of The Iceberg Effect - available as a hard copy book - free - just pay shipping. See the snippet below
