| Welcome, Maddy Ross, to Resound NW!
Resound NW is pleased to have MADDY ROSS join our staff of instructors. Raised in a musical family and developing her craft from a very young age, Maddy brings a diverse range of experience to our team. While she specializes in classical/opera, musical theater and jazz, her passion for teaching and her personal experiences well qualify her to work with a broad spectrum of students, no matter what their musical preferences.
Maddy has been performing since she was a young teenager, beginning with a solo for a church performance and eventually offering her talents to larger audiences, in roles in such beloved works as Figaro and Into the Woods.
When speaking of her former instructors, she praises her choral director at Willamette University, “He instilled in me the idea that working hard isn’t hard work if you’re doing something you love.” She also mentions a voice professor who taught her, through example, “to perform with my whole body, not just my voice.”
“Being a teacher is one of the most rewarding things I get to do with my music. I am so inspired every day by the incredibly unique, brave people who I have the pleasure of teaching!"
“My ideal student is someone who is eager to learn and has an open mind! I believe that everyone can sing, and that everyone SHOULD sing!!! Singing is my number one favorite thing to do, and with an open mind and eagerness to learn, anything is possible!”

Song Studio Class TONIGHT!
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany him or her.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!

New Classes and Pricing
We are so excited to announce some improvements we are making at Resound NW starting next month. These changes involve new class offerings from our staff instructors and a new monthly discount payment plan. These changes start April 1, so we wanted to give you a heads up about them now.
*Starting in April 1, all of our staff instructors will be offering a variety of group music classes for you to enjoy. These classes will cover a variety of topics, to be announced later this month.
*Our staff instructors will be offering a new monthly discount plan called the Premiere Program. This program allows you to have a combination of lessons and classes each month for a discounted price. See below.
*Our staff instructors will no longer be offering lessons packages (i.e. 6 or 12 lessons) but will now offer the Premiere Program instead.
*Pricing for lessons and classes with Daniel Buchanan remains the same.
*These new classes and payment policies will be effective April 1.
