Summer Music Picnic!

A concert featuring Resound NW teachers, students, and SoulSinging groups

Let's gather in late summer and celebrate our phenomenal vocalists with another warm and heart-felt picnic!

This is a relaxed, joyful Studio Gathering. Our Studio Gatherings are an opportunity for our students to perform for each other, to share what they are learning in their music lessons, and for friends and family to support their loved ones. Audiences will be invited to join in on the sing-a-long songs!

Come, bring a camp chair and an offering for our potluck table, or simply bring your self. What better way to celebrate the end of summer than by soaking in some tunes sung by our passionate music students??

Diverse Voices: Volume 3

A Showcase of Local & Living Composers

We're delighted to announce the new line-up of performers for the recently rescheduled Diverse Voices: Volume 3!

Join Miss Smith and Resound NW for a concert highlighting the wonderfully diverse and rich pool of performing artists in our local Portland community, as well as living composers we love. Composers of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, minorities, and local composers are what make up our vibrant and thriving artist scene. Come celebrate with us!

Merideth Kaye Clark & Susannah Mars Command Performance: Garland & Streisand

Tuesday September 10th at 7pm at Clackamas Repertory Theatre

This dynamite duo is back for a repeat of their sold-out show of songs made famous by Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand. Enjoy an evening of musical surprises with these two top-notch performers singing your favorite show tunes.

Voni Kengla stars in the lead role of this production! Voni has been a student with Resound for over ten years and worked as our studio administrator. Come out and support her beautiful work!

Song Studio is an opportunity for our community to come together through singing and provide a supportive environment to practice performing. After a period of group singing and warm-up, this class focuses on individual performances from students.

SoulSinging is an innovative group singing journey that is equal parts choir, singing class, and supportive community. While exploring exciting and diverse musical styles, this group empowers participants to be holistic, mindful singing artists. Focusing on the skills and attention required to create dynamic ensemble performances, participants will learn the potency of singing together.
