| | | Maddy Ross Farewell Recital This Sunday
Maddy Ross, staff instructor at Resound NW, will be hosting a Farewell Recital at First Presbyterian Church of Portland on July 31st to celebrate her upcoming move to Cambridge, MA to start a Master of Music program in Opera Performance at the Longy School of Music.
She will be joined by long time Portland friends and family as they perform a wide range of pieces from Mozart, Bach, and Delibes to Ingrid Michaelson, Stephen Sondheim, and the Wailin' Jennys.
The concert will begin at 4pm in the Sanctuary and will feature Maddy as well as Crystal Zimmerman, Joellen Sweeney, Jenny Warren, staff instructor Maria Olaya, Don Barnes, Sharon Ross, and Greg Homza. We hope you will be able to attend this free concert and support our musical community with your presence!
When: Sunday, July 31st @ 4pm
Where: First Presbyterian Church (1200 SW Alder st.), Sanctuary
Parking: There is a parking lot under the church!

Part Studio Gathering and part potluck picnic, we invite our friends to celebrate summer with us in a lovely park setting. There will be performances from students, teachers and SoulSinging classes, group singing, delicious cuisine and fun to be had by all. More information will follow! |
| | Now Enrolling: SoulSinging Classes
SoulSinging is an innovative group singing journey that is equal parts choir, singing class, and supportive community. While exploring exciting and diverse musical styles, this group empowers participants to be holistic, mindful singing artists. Focusing on the skills and attention required to create dynamic ensemble performances, participants will learn the potency of singing together. Read more-->

Class B
Level: Advanced
Time: Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00pm

| | Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany him or her.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
