Resound’s own pianist/cellist Sophie Lippert joins forces with violinist-looper/composer Joe Kye for a warm evening of music at Fremont Abbey in Seattle. Featuring original compositions alongside classical masterpieces, solo and collaborative performances, and a few fresh takes on the holidays. The evening is a unique and rare opportunity to hear Chopin and Debussy alongside jazz, blues, and improvisation. Join for an exciting foray through incredible soundscapes with two great performers & musical innovators.
Musicians Joe Kye and Sophie Lippert first made music together as high school students at a local chamber music camp in Seattle. More than a decade later, Kye and Lippert are touring professionals devoted to creating deeper engagement, connection, and community through music. Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany them.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
