Celebrate Resound NW student Riley Miller, who is performing in this upcoming concert from the Portland Lesbian Choir!
The Portland Lesbian Choir presents Coming Out of the Dark, a concert of hope and resilience, on December 21 & 22, 2024.
This solstice concert presents music with powerful, resonant messages that speak to the strength of our community. Hold On (Yola Carter) tells us to cherish who we are and to value our uniqueness. I’m Still Standing (Elton John) speaks to our resilience—our ability to heal ourselves and continue on in the face of adversity. Rise Up (Andra Day) speaks to our ability to “move mountains.” Sanctuary (Jason Robert Brown) reminds us to hold onto and protect one another in the face of strife.
Experiencing music in a safe space with others who are there to support you and lift you up is a wonderful gift that PLC strives to give to each person who attends our concerts. You are a part of our extended PLC family and we cherish the opportunity to welcome you to our community.
Please join us on December 21 at 7 pm or December 22 at 3 pm at the Parkrose Performing Arts Center. |
