I wanted to remind you about 2 free events happening this week with Resound NW.
The first event is tonight! We will be having our monthly "Song Studio" class. Several brave students will be performing songs they have prepared, accompanied by pianist Colin Shepard. I will coach these students on performance technique and work on giving a relaxed and engaging performance.
Song Studio is FREE to observe. You are welcome to attend this evening (Thursday) from 7:00-9:00pm. More details online here.
Secondly, I am so excited to co-host "Fall Fling!" this Saturday evening, Oct. 19 at Slater House. This will be very unique party, featuring demonstrations from several arts and health practitioners in town. I will be leading some time of group singing and giving a demonstration of a group singing class. There will be live music from a jazz combo and from Abby Buchanan on Tibetan singing bowls. Kym Cumbo will give you a taste of laughter yoga and SoulCollage. And Malee Lucas will lead shamanic healing. The evening will be capped off with a gathering around the campfire and sharing food and drinks.

Jennifer Davies is a member of the cast of "9 to 5: The Musical". Opening October 24, performances are through Stumptown Stages and featuring the music of the incomparable Dolly Parton. |

Lori Lewis is gearing up for a European tour in December with symphonic metal band Therion. The tour will take the band to 12 countries, including Poland, France, and the Czech Rebublic. |
