The most recent post in our Spotlight on NYC Schools series highlights the percentage of New Yorkers with Puerto Rican heritage in each census tract. Research Alliance in the News

The Research Alliance authored a blog in Education Week’s “Urban Education Reform: Bridging Research and Practice” blog series. Our post, "4 Key Strategies for Improving School Culture for Black and Latino Male Students", highlights findings from our report, Strategies for Improving School Culture: Educator Reflections on Transforming the High School Experience for Black and Latino Young Men, and discusses our evaluation of the Expanded Success Initiative (ESI) which was designed to improve college and career readiness for young men of color at 40 NYC high schools.

High School for Law and Public Service assistant principal Alexandra Brown wrote a practitioner response, "How a High School Transformed Its School Culture" and reflected on the positive outcomes of implementing strategies to strengthen school culture at her school.
