Subject: Now That's What I Call Volatility

Hi Folks.

I was chatting with Cynthia Macy a few days back and she mentioned she had received a couple of inquiries from people wanting to know if I was still alive.

I’m still here, and I’ve been putting most of my waking hours into a project you will hopefully find interesting, and when it’s done I’ll lay it all out for you and see what you think.

But at the moment, I’ve been more than a little consumed with all the volatility in Gold and Oil.  I haven’t seen charts like these since the 2008-2010 worldwide real estate meltdown, and I suspect we are going to keep seeing these crazy amounts of price action for the foreseeable future.

I wrote up a piece on a way to really capture big chunks of these moves, and you can find that at http://fxgoldminer.com/lite

Many of you have heard me talk about the Wild West days of trading back in the mid 2000’s, when catching 50 and 100 pip moves in both directions in the same hour of trading was pretty much commonplace.

This Oil and Gold price action isn’t quite as crazy as that, but it’s pretty close.  And I found a way to capitalize on it that is a lot less stressful than those emotional roller coaster rides the GBPJPY used to take us on 15 or so years ago.

So head over to http://fxgoldminer.com/lite and see what you think.

Jeff
