Subject: Hurricanes Suck
Hi Folks.
No, that was not a comment on the Univ. of Miami football team. That was directed at Hurricane Hermine ( which I believe is French for "enormous pain in the ass") the first true hurricane to make land here in Florida since 2005 or something like that. In the preceding 10 years we have had at least a dozen or so warnings about storms that appeared to be headed for us but then twisted off away in some other direction.
Every single time I took those warnings seriously and bought a bunch of bottled water and canned beans so I could make it through whatever damage the storms might inflict. But after hearing "the sky is falling" so many times and nothing happening, this time I decided to go about my business as usual and not worry about some storm that would probably miss us just like all the others.
Big mistake.
This one actually came through Florida with the center of the storm about 100 miles north of me, but the residual bands around the storm did some extensive damage in my neighborhood, and left us without power for 36 hours and no internet/cable until about 4 hours ago.
Personally, I am fine and my home suffered no damage I am aware of. My neighbors, however, run the gamut from finding their backyard furniture and fixtures (like patios and awnings) now residing in someone else's back yard two blocks over, to one person whose home is now a duplex with a large tree splitting it in two right down the middle.
So I am grateful I was spared from anything more serious than some minor utilities issues.
Anyway, all that to say this: On Thursday of last week, right before the wind and the rain started, I sent out an email regarding the Fall Trade room which will open up this coming Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. eastern. We still have plenty of room if you would like to join us. Details are at http://www.simple4xsystem.net/fallroom.html
We will be trading 5-6 pairs and shooting for some small targets (5-8 pips per trade) with a goal of netting ahead 3-4 trades per session (the method I have been using with some success tends to generate 1-3 trades per hour per pair, so we should have plenty of action once we start trading at 9 a.m.).
A lot of you wrote with questions about the room and getting in once Tuesday arrives, and I have just completed sending out individual replies to everyone. Those should be in your inbox by now. If you have any other questions, or can't find my reply, drop me a line at jeff@simple4xsystem.net and I will get an answer out to you as quick as I can starting first thing tomorrow morning.
I think we are going to have a lot of fun in this room and stand to make some serious money between now and the Christmas season, so I hope you can join us. That link again is http://www.simple4xsystem.net/fallroom.html
See you in the room Tuesday morning.
Jeff
