Subject: FX News Forecast for 5-20 to 24

Hi Folks.

Here is this week's FX news forecast.

Monday: Nothing but Fed chatter. We don't know exactly when it will start, exactly when it will end, and what sort of nonsense might be uttered to cause the markets to move even a little. So we just sit and watch.

Tuesday: Ditto

Wednesday: Minor news not designed to move the markets, aside from Crude Oil at 10:30 moving crude prices some.

Thursday: Flash Mfg. & Service PMI numbers have been known to push prices around on occasion. Not much to work with but after 3 days of garbage, the market just might be ready to fire some salvos. So be aware.

Friday: One last Fed clown and the revised UofM numbers, which because it's the revised numbers usually has less impact than the Preliminary numbers, and honestly, the impact is usually non-existent. But again, this has been a lousy week for news, so assuming nothing from the "unknown and unpredictable" side of the ledger hasn't made an appearance this week, this is really the market's last chance to stage some kind of price move before end of week. So again, don't expect much but be ready if the market reacts.

Jeff
