Subject: Doda and Slope Settings

Hi Folks.

Yesterday afternoon I sent you a link to a page for the Doda indicator, which we have been using in the Trade Room this week with tremendous success.  If you missed that email, you can learn more about Doda and download your own copy at

http://renko-gold.com/wp/doda

In the video on that page I mentioned I was using the Slope Direction Line as a way to exit and re-enter trades after we get the initial signal from Doda.

What I failed to do was tell you the settings I'm using on the Slope.  So here they are:

8,2,0

The default settings are 80,3,0, so you change the 80 to an 8, and the 3 to a 2.  Leave the 0 as is.

Also, some of you missed the one setting change we made on the Doda, so here it is again as well.

Change the ChannelPeriod setting from 24 to 110 (under the Inputs tab when you load Doda onto a chart).

That's all there is to it.  Wait for price to break through the Doda line and close.  When it does the first time, the indicator will give you either a set of red crosshairs for a Sell, or green crosshairs for a Buy.   I exit when my Slope changes color, and then either wait for price to break through the Doda line in the opposite direction for my next trade, or for the Slope to change back to the original color for a re-entry.

Today I took 3 trades in the trade room.  The first was a Doda headfake for a loss of 8 pips, the second was a 24 pip winner, and the third was a 6 pip winner.  I missed one obvious signal which occurred while I was on a break, and that one ran for 40 pips (naturally).  We closed the room early today (around 9:45) and at 10:30 there was another signal that ran for an additional 48 pips, so the combination of Gold finally waking up and the Doda/Slope combination keeping us out of some potentially disastrous contrarian trades has made trading as close to foolproof as we've seen in a long time.

So grab your copy of Doda (it's free) and add the Slope to a 4 pip Renko box Gold chart, and start cranking out some year-end profits.

I have another video I'm working on and hope to have it up for your consideration this weekend at some point.
