Subject: Are Harmonic Scanners Worth Your Time?

Hi Folks.

Lately you've probably noticed that your inbox is full of ads for a variety of Harmonic Scanners, which search your MT4 platform for pairs that are forming up into one or more patterns known as Gartley (or Harmonic) Patterns.  These patters have proven over time to have a positive win record (some win as much as 80% of the time).

But are they really worth using?

I've spent the last 3-4 weeks working with one built by Reza Mehrabani, who you might remember as being the brains behind the only Renko EA I ever used that worked profitably over the long term (Pipspring).  Reza got in touch with me a few weeks ago and asked me to tear his new product apart and see if I could find any flaws or bugs.

After putting it through its paces,  have to admit he has another winner on his hands.  But the key is to limit the scan to the longer time frames that are a lot more stable than the scalping time frames.  This means the 1H, 4H and 1D charts.  And in fact,if you drop the 1H charts, you'll be getting a lot of winning trades out of the scanner, but they will be fewer in overall number as it takes longer for the 4H and 1D charts to spit out enough candles to create one of the patterns.

I put together a video where I briefly cover the history and theory behind these patterns then we go into the workings of the actual scanner.

P.S.--For those of you who have been patiently waiting for me to start sending out the signals once again, I am actively working on a way to add these patterns to the signal service so that we are no longer limited to a single source of trades on a limited number of pairs.  I will be emailing you more about that in the next 24 hours.
