Dear Red Brush Rifle Range member, Members have recently reported seeing copperhead snakes on the East side of our property near the lake. Copperhead snakes are one of the few indigenous venomous snakes in Indiana. They are rarely aggressive so will generally leave you alone if you leave them alone. But if they are startled (e.g., stepped on) they may bite defensively.
