I love to send you joy on Fridays, but today, we have a reminder of the constant struggles of our neighbors in Uganda.
There have been terrible rainstorms, winds, and flooding in Lukaya again. Mayor Charles shared these pictures of one neighboring school. Other schools also suffered damage—roofs were blown off (as in the photo), and brick walls collapsed.
Two good things: Mustard Seed Academy remains secure, and the students of the collapsing schools were not at school.
I expect to share better news next week.
