Dear Friend,
I’m writing because there are only two days left in the year for you to send a Ugandan child to Mustard Seed Primary or Secondary School.
Girls like the one pictured above are home for the holidays and worried if they will be able to go to school when the new school year begins on the first of February.
At home, she is saddled with the care of her younger siblings. Her family's little money will be used to send her brother to school. Her future is bleak.
The good news is you can help!
Please give a year-end gift by midnight on Sunday to provide the next abandoned, orphaned, hungry, sick, or vulnerable child a way to enroll at Mustard Seed Academy.
Children may go with a guardian to their village, where they will do manual labor—too far from Lukaya and Mustard Seed and far from good educational opportunities. They become drop-outs. A young girl may be forced into being a child bride.
Your gift will help a child receive the quality education, food, and care needed to thrive.
Without Mustard Seed, kids living in Lukaya with a poor mother and many siblings don't have a chance. Many such kids are waiting and hoping this year will be their chance to go to the best school in the area (and the only low-cost or free one).
Your gift can make a difference and send a girl like the one pictured above to Mustard Seed Primary School, where she can thrive. And your donation will support all of the work and workers at Mustard Seed.
If you can, please help the next child in dire need – and the next. Click here to give.
For the kids,
Elaine
