| Airbrush Tip from Dru
Is your airbrush skipping, even after you've replaced the needle, tip, and thoroughly cleaned it? One of the most overlooked problems is an air leak in the head assembly. Try spraying some glass cleaner or soapy water on the head assembly, then spray just air through the airbrush. Look for bubbles forming to indicate an air leak. To repair, simply use beeswax or lip balm with wax to seal the threads of the head assembly. Remember that the head assembly should only be finger tight. Never use pliers or other tools to tighten the assembly, as they tend to distort the metal parts, and invite air leaks. |
