Learn how to paint this masterpiece!
One could hardly ask for a more beautiful subject to paint that William Waterhouse's masterpiece "Lady of Shallot." The original painting is based on Alfred Tennyson's epic poem about a maiden who is imprisoned in Shalott by a curse of death should she gaze upon Camelot. She violates the curse with a direct glance, and knowing she is doomed, sets out on a boat to Camelot, but she will not survive the journey.
In this 5-day workshop you will learn to combine traditional brushwork with the airbrush to replicate this entire painting. You will learn both impressionism and classic realism in the same painting. Perfect for beginners. Space is limited so enroll early.

3D Anamorphic Illusions Returns
Learn to paint large scale anamorphic 3D illusions. This hands-on workshop covers the techniques and approaches to the same popular illusions seen on sidewalks made famous by sidewalk and mural artists.
Last year our class created this outdoor locomotive mural project in Winnsboro, SC, using an illusion technique called anamorphic perspective. This year we will continue the mural project with another large 3D illusion mural to compliment the first one.

New! Organic Edge French Curve
Rough Around the Edges
Here's a new stencil with a twist. The tried and true french curve now has an organic edge!
If you want more realism in your work, it's important to remain faithful to the subject. Most edges and lines in nature are not smooth. The boundaries of most natural objects usually have small variations. This stencil will make it easy to reproduce those subtle and organic borders, wrinkles, and lines found in nature, because it too has a more-natural rough edge!
We also offer a version with a smooth edge!

Troubleshooting your airbrush - part 2
The second most common problem with airbrushing is another form of dried paint, but it is not found on the needle.
Symptom:
- loss of pressure, either partial or complete
