Airbrush Tip: How to remove the needle
Avoid damaging the needle packing
When removing the needle to examine it, some people advocate removing the needle from the front.
However, if paint wicks past the needle packing and dries hard on the needle (green arrow), dragging the needle forward will force this bump on the needle through the needle packing and potentially damage it permanently.
So always remove the needle from the back of the airbrush.
