Is this really the same soul, the same Melissa?
When I first saw her kitten photo, I burst into tears. Some part of me recognized her instantly.
Animals reincarnate more frequently than you might imagine. Melissa left her body in August, 2021, and was reborn in September, 2021.
Her new physical appearance was feline and the same breed, Thai Tonkinese.
But that's not how I recognized her.
How do you recognize a soul returning to you?
It's not the appearance of a physical body, although the new body does carry the energy of the soul.
It's more subtle than that.
Sometimes you can look into their eyes, the "windows" to the soul, and see the being you know looking back at you.
Sometimes they give you a physical signal, but not always.
Most of all, it's your heart connection that allows you to look at an animal and feel, "I know you. I recognize you. I remember you. I feel your presence."
It's the heart connection that signals the Truth, while your left brain may be stumbling around trying to "make sense" of what's happening, or even insisting that this can't be the same being you loved and thought you had lost forever.

Not all spirits return to physical as quickly as Melissa did. Some wait for years, measured in 3-D time, while others don't return for lifetimes.
