Dear Friend,
As each of your animals nears the end of their lifetime, saying "goodbye" and helping them through the departure process can take a terrible toll on your physical energy and your emotional state.
Grieving, or any strong emotion, can interfere with clear thinking and decision-making.
Each of these aspects of the end-of-life process is important and can be challenging when you're already feeling grief:
Figuring out timing for the animal's departure; Knowing what to do to keep them comfortable; Feeling competent to make good decisions about their care; Knowing what questions to ask the veterinarian; Exploring the option of your animal passing over on his/her own; Being able to express your feelings to your companion; Being receptive to whatever your companion wants to say to you.
An Animal Communicator is a valuable resource for these reasons: She is a good listener. She is not emotionally involved. She is able to provide compassionate support for both of you. She can brainstorm with you and your companion to work out differences in perspective.
If you would like some help with this process for one or more of your animal companions, Animal Communication offers both of you opportunities to discuss options, share perspectives, and make decisions together. Having a Plan-of-Action that you both have agreed upon lessens the likelihood of you feeling guilty about their end-of-life choices and process. Other animal family members can also be part of the conversation. This keeps them from feeling excluded and helps them to prepare for the transition that will deeply affect them as well as you. In addition. Energy Healing for the animal getting ready to leave, and also for you, can be beneficial, and can help to smooth out the process for everyone.
