In light of everything that's been going on the past few weeks with COVID-19, we thought it would be good to check in and keep you updated with how Rainworks is responding and being impacted:
We operate out of Seattle, Washington, where the US is currently hardest hit by COVID-19. We take this pandemic seriously and are using the following measures at our distribution center to help prevent the spread:
- An Airocide air filtration system which kills any airborne viruses
- Sanitizing surfaces at regular intervals
- Social distancing: Limiting the number of people present at the facility at any one time
- Thorough hand washing
- Requiring anyone with any symptoms to stay home
Like many small businesses, we're feeling the economic impact of the virus as people cut back on non-essential spending.
Many people around the globe are being told to stay home from work without pay, and as a result, people are only purchasing necessities right now. We completely understand - and we never want this project to be prioritized over basic needs.
That said, now more than every people can really use a lift-me-up, and Rainworks are a great option if you're looking for something creative to do with your extra time at home.
We could definitely use your support to help get us through this time, and we hope that you'll keep us in mind if you are looking for a fun art project that you can do at home while social distancing.
Never underestimate the impact of putting positivity into the world... especially during these bleak times. The value of making somebody smile is greater now than ever.

| Also... We're approaching the 5 year anniversary of Rainworks, and we've been working on something big:
At the end of this month, it will have been 5 years since our project first went viral. It's been an amazing roller-coaster since then, as we've seen people all over the world create their own Rainworks and spread smiles on rainy days.
Over the past couple months, we have been working on something we're really excited about, and we can't wait to share it with you.
I'm not going to spoil the surprise yet, but we want you to know it's something a lot of people have been asking for... So keep your eyes out for a big announcement within the next week or two.
