Disappointment yesterday when our horse got stuck in a pocket and by the time we got a run it was all but too late. Finishing very strongly to take second on the line. Would we have won? We will never know sadly but its always gutting when you don't get a true run. It's easy to blame the jockey in those circumstances but as someone who has ridden I can tell you its far more complicated than that and on another day the gaps may have opened much quicker. On to today....

This is a competitive looking race and our selection is up in weight for winning last time out, but that is compensated some what by the jockey booking and connections tell me this horse loves the tapeta and expect him to make all from the front early on.
