Subject: The Importance of Peace In Our Lives 🤍

Assalamualaykum Friend,

We hope you are doing well in both eeman and health.

Peace, or harmony in human relations, is not just a fundamental value within Islam, but it's also intricately woven into the very fabric of the faith.

From its inception, Islam has emphasized the significance of peace as a guiding principle for interactions between individuals, communities, and nations.

The Quran, which is the holy scripture of Islam, explicitly promotes the concept of peace in numerous verses.

The Quran encourages believers to engage in dialogue and negotiation to reach amicable solutions.

It teaches that reconciliation and forgiveness are virtues, and revenge or violence is discouraged. Even in cases where retaliation might be permitted, forgiveness is always preferred.

Islam teaches that ethics and good character are the most important qualities of a believer. Doing good deeds is part of being a true Muslim. Islam gives us guidance in all areas of life, such as marriage and work. Islam gives us a clear purpose in life–to please God.

It is important to remember that Allah is the Most Merciful, because believers should think positively about Allah. Allah says in a hadith qudsi, “I am as My servant thinks of me…” (Bukhari, Muslim)

Blessed to serve you on your Qur'an journey,
