Assalaamualikum Friend,

I hope the last 10 days of Ramadan have been life-changing and full of Ibadah Insha'Allah!

Ramadan is flying by too fast! Please take the most advantage of these most precious days. We never know if we'll be able to make it for the next Ramadan.

As for this week's newsletter, we concentrated on Duas from the Quran and Sunnah as well as a comprehensive study of Surah Zalzalah. Also, one of my friend's asked me about Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) so we decided to also write about them for educational purposes. I hope you enjoy the read!

On another note, I'd love it if you guys can make dua for my cousin who passed away in a motorbike accident a few weeks ago during the first week of Ramadan.

He passed away while fasting on Friday and Insha'Allah, hope he is granted Jannat Al Firdaus. His name is Ismail Iqbal, his wife's name is Arveen Ismail, and his kids are Saffiyah and Sabreena (age 5 and 4). May Allah SWT shower his blessings on them and grant them patience in this most difficult time.

Remember, don't miss out on this opportunity to come back to Allah SWT and sincerely repent for all of your sins. Don't be afraid to ask Allah SWT for anything!

Please keep me in your dua's during these most blessed nights and Insha'Allah I will do the same for you!

P.S. I came across this incredibly beautiful Quran Recitation and would love for you to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW0vnPc-_uc&t=1s

Read on.

Surah Zalzalah - A Comprehensive Study
The Day of Judgement, a pivotal event in the afterlife that will take place after the world comes to an end, is the Day on which every single human being ever to exist on Earth from the beginning of time to its end will be resurrected and held accountable for their actions for their eternal destiny – Heaven or Hell? – to be determined.
 Alhamdulillah & A Muslim's Daily Life
The word ‘hamd’ has the connotation of both gratitude and praise. We praise Allah for who He is, for His perfect qualities and attributes, and we are thankful to Him for everything He has given us (or not given us) and has decreed for us.

Duas from the Quran
Among the most special duas you can supplicate to Allah with are those that are found in the Quran. Some of them were phrased by Allah (swt), sometimes as an order to the Prophet (sa). Others were quotes from pious people of the past, including prophets and messengers, which Allah (swt) honoured by placing them in the Quran.

Yajuj & Majuj
Yajuj and Majuj are two tribes of people from the land of the Turks. They aren’t monsters or dinosaurs, but human beings, children of Adam (as). But unlike us (I hope), they are monstrous by nature. They like destroying stuff – crops, trees, buildings – and people. They can also drink up a lake.

Some Duas from the Quran & Sunnah for Seeking Protection
When Shaytan disobeyed Allah and Allah ordered him out of Paradise, his sole aim in life became to take the children of Adam (as), us, to hellfire along with him. He promised to sit on the Straight Path and come to us from every direction to distract us, delude us, make us forget, make us hopeless, commit sins, and ultimately worship other than Allah.
