Subject: Re-build Your Relationship With the Quran 🤍

A familiar voice reached her ears. The sweet sound of Sa’d al Ghamdi reciting Surah Waqiah was echoing from the room next to hers.

Assalamualaykum Friend,

We hope you are doing well in both eeman and health.

A familiar voice reached her ears. The sweet sound of Sa’d al Ghamdi reciting Surah Waqiah was echoing from the room next to hers.

Hafsa couldn’t help but pause and listen. A bittersweet nostalgia engulfed her. This was one of the Surahs she often listened to in the past years, but now…?

Deadlines, commitments, and most of all her negligence had created a wide gap between her and the Quran.

Even when she did open the Quran at times, she would not be able to focus; her heart and mind did not accompany her.

Now she wasn’t able to find time for Tafseer either. Gradually, she had lost it all!

Thinking about it, Hafsa made up her mind. She must reconnect.

Have you ever gone through a similar phase when your connection with the Quran dwindles and weakens? Do you wish to rekindle this bond and re-plug into the Quran?

Top Picks For The Day

We’ve come to the middle of Surat al-Fatihah. The first three verses were a statement about Allah, His love and mercy, and His complete authority over the Day of Judgment. Now, we come to ourselves. What is the relationship between Allah and me?

In the previous ayah, we affirmed that we seek help only from Allah. Now, what’s the most crucial help we need? Imagine you’re a Bedouin wandering around in a vast desert, completely lost, and you come across a man on a camel.

In part 6 we discussed that the Sirat al-Mustaqim is a path going straight up. The higher you climb up that path, the higher up you are spiritual, worldly things look more mundane and insignificant, and the range of your insight widens.

In part 7 we discussed that the Sirat al-Mustaqim is a part going straight up, and the higher you climb up that path, the higher up you are spiritual, the more mundane and insignificant worldly things look, the closer you are to your goal, and the more disastrous it will be to crash.

Blessed to serve you on your Qur'an journey,
