Assalamualaikum Friend,
We pray this email finds you well inshaAllah!
Today, we wish to share a reflection that has touched our hearts deeply this Ramadan - the importance of gratitude.
During Ramadan, as we fast and reflect, it's a perfect time to ponder over the blessings bestowed upon us. From the first sip of water after sunset to the fulfilling meal that breaks our fast, each moment serves as a reminder of the abundance of blessings in our lives.
In the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, it's easy to overlook these blessings. However, Ramadan serves as a gentle nudge to pause and express gratitude to the Almighty for His countless favours upon us. As mentioned in the Quran:
"Remember Me; I will remember you. Be thankful to Me, and never ungrateful." (Quran 2:152)
Gratitude isn't just about uttering words of thanks; it's about deeply feeling appreciation in our hearts and reflecting it in our actions. It's about extending kindness and generosity to those around us, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah." (Tirmidhi)
Through acts of charity, compassion, and forgiveness, we can instil the spirit of gratitude and spread positivity to others.
As we journey through Ramadan, let's take a moment each day to count our blessings and share our gratitude with those in need. Let's make gratitude a guiding principle in our lives, drawing us closer to Allah and enriching our relationships with others.
May our hearts be filled with gratitude, our spirits uplifted, and our actions guided by love and compassion throughout this blessed month.
