Assalamualaikum Friend,
We hope this finds you well!
As another blessed Jumua'h approaches, we are reminded of the countless virtues this day holds, a day that our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) described as the best of days. He said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it, Adam was created, on it, he was made to enter Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it" (Sahih Muslim).
Jumua'h is a day filled with opportunities for spiritual growth and connection with Allah.
One of the most significant moments on this blessed day is the last hour before Maghrib. The Prophet (ï·º) said, "On Friday, there is an hour during which, if any Muslim stands in prayer and asks Allah for something, he will be granted it" (Sahih Bukhari).
SubhanAllah, this is an incredible moment where our duas (supplications) are especially powerful, and we should strive not to miss out.
Additionally, reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Jumua'h is a practice greatly encouraged by the Prophet (ï·º). He said, "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him between the two Fridays" (Sahih Al-Jaami).
Let’s make the most of the day and make dua for ourselves, and our families! May Allah bless us all, accept our duas, and grant us His peace and mercy.
