Assalaamualikum Friend,

Allah (SWT) promises the one who recites the Quran a special place in Paradise. He says in the Quran, 17:79

وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ عَسَىٰ أَن يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَّحْمُودًا

“And from [part of] the night, pray with it [the Quran] as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.”

In numerous explanations of this Quranic verse, “Maqaamam Mahmooda” (a praised station) is translated as Jannatul Firdaus, the highest station in Paradise.

When someone learns the Quran and recites it during the night prayer, Allah promises them a lofty status in Paradise, a special place where the slave will be close to Him, the Most High.

Why is there such a tremendous reward?

To wake up in the middle of the night and leave your bed where it’s comfortable and warm, all whilst slumber is overtaking you, isn’t an easy task. It takes great effort and great will.

After all, that’s why Allah has chosen only a few of His servants, a very special handful, that He will bless with this exceptional reward.

One practical way to achieve this is by getting a Quran coach, as they can

>>> Keep you connected with the Quran on a daily basis,

>>> Remind you of its great rewards (like the one mentioned above),

>>> Help you to put actionable steps in place to help you achieve all your Quran goals.

With a mentor, this becomes easier (Insha'Allah)!
