We hope you are doing well in both eeman and health.
The heart is not just an emotional organ. In the Quran, it is described as having the capacity to think.
âAnd We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are heedless.â (7:179)
The Heart is the seat of intention. It is what determines whether we accept or reject the truth.
âAnd if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a security deposit [should be] taken. And if one of you entrusts another, then let him who is entrusted discharge his trust [faithfully] and let him fear Allah, his Lord. And do not conceal testimony, for whoever conceals it - his heart is indeed sinful, and Allah is Knowing of what you do.â (2:283) |
