Subject: An Nawawi’s Hadith #1: All Actions Are By Intentions

Assalamualaykum Friend,

We pray this email finds you well in both eeman and health.

We are going to look at the topic of intentions from a completely new dimension.

The way you implement this hadith in your day-to-day life is going to be refreshingly different after you finish reading this article insha'Allah.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “Islam is that you should testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, that you should perform salah, pay the Zakah, fast during Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House, if you are able to do so.”

Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) taught us many simple adhkar that relieve worry. These adhkar can be said any time of the day and are so simple. The next time you feel worried, turn your worry into ibadah with these 8 adhkar.

In the previous two parts, we learned about Islam and Imaan. In this part, we will focus on the remaining part of this hadith inshaAllah.

“Then he (the man) said, “Inform me about Ihsan.” He (the Messenger of Allah) answered, “It is that you should serve Allah as though you could see Him, for though you cannot see Him yet (know that) He sees you.”

While we do say, “There is none worthy of worship except Allah”, there are numerous times where we allow our desires and/or worldly bliss and glam to take us away from the remembrance of Allah, so much so that Allah says we have takes our desires as Gods besides Allah!

Blessed to serve you on your Qur'an journey,
