Assalamualaykum Friend,
We hope you are doing well in both eeman and health.
"And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: 'If you give thanks (by accepting faith), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e., disbelievers), verily My punishment is indeed severe." (Quran 14:7)
This verse from the Quran serves as a gentle reminder of the intimate connection between gratitude and blessings.
In every moment, there is an opportunity to recognize the countless blessings bestowed upon us and respond with a heart full of gratitude.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of gratitude in numerous hadiths. One such hadith narrated by Abu Huraira states:
"He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah." (Sahih Bukhari)
This hadith underscores the interconnectedness of gratitude, not only to Allah but also to those around us.
Expressing gratitude to us human beings is also an integral part of our Deen, acknowledging that every person in our lives is a means through which Allah blesses us.
May the grace of Allah envelop you in His mercy and may your hearts be filled with gratitude. We look forward to sharing more reflections, insights, and community stories in our upcoming newsletters. |
