A Close Look at Surat al-Fatiha – Part 3
“When we begin to appreciate the depth and the beauty of the Fatiha, it will make us want to explore the rest of the Quran. So Fatiha literally, what does it mean? The Opener. When you reflect on it, it opens the rest of the doors. And when you don’t reflect on it, the doors remain closed.” (Nouman Ali Khan)
A Close Look at Surat al-Fatiha – Part 4
After Allah (swt) introduces Himself by His proper name, and tells us that He is our Master, and He loves and cares for us like no one else, now it’s time to put us in check. So we come to the next ayah of Surat al-Fatihah:

Maaliki yawmid deen

“Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.”
