Subject: 3 Ways to Get Rid of Spiritual Distractions Before Ramadan

It’s the month of Rajab and you may be thinking that Ramadan is still so far away, so why are we talking about it?

Assalamualaykum Friend,

We hope you are doing well in both eeman and health.

It’s the month of Rajab and you may think that Ramadan is still so far away, so why are we talking about it?

In reality, even though the month of Ramadan is still several weeks away, there is no better time to start preparing for it than now so that we can have a fulfilling Ramadan.

Many of us yearn for the month of Ramadan and look forward to it, but you find that you didn’t exactly get the Ramadan feeling during the month and after it is over. You didn’t have the feeling of holiness and the iman high that comes with it. Rather, you just fasted and prayed and that was it.

The problem is that we can’t just expect our Ramadan to be magical if we never made any preparations for it. If we keep doing the same things that we did before Ramadan came, how then can we prepare for Ramadan to enjoy it?

We need to get rid of spiritual distractions that can prevent us from tasting the sweetness of Ramadan way before Ramadan even arrives.

Top Picks For This Week

Shaytan’s promise to Allah (SWT) after he sinned made him expelled. Many of us may think that as long as we do good and avoid major sins, then we are good. But the reality of life is that Shaytan does not tempt you to the big sins alone.

Many of us Muslims who do not speak or understand Arabic have built our relationship with the Qur’an by reading the transliteration of the Qur’an. Transliterated Qur’ans are hard copies of the Qur’an (Mus’haf) that have been transliterated into a language apart from Arabic.

Blessed to serve you on your Qur'an journey,
