Subject: Final Thoughts on Raga Singing for Transformation and New Resources Available 🎤

Hello Friends,

First and foremost, I want to thank you all for attending my "Raga Singing for Transformation" workshop. I hope that you enjoyed it as much as I did! I truly loved sharing this music with all of you and I hope that you received a lot of benefit from the course!

I would like to take this opportunity to share some parting thoughts with you as we close this chapter.

  1. The Danger of Online Courses (and the Benefits...)

I love online courses, I take them all the time. The big danger is not finishing them. So I want to help motivate any of you who may have fallen behind to finish strong!

Here is my offer: Anyone who sends me a video of themselves singing at least 2 out of the 3 compositions that we studied will get a free 30min lesson where I will give you feedback and guidance with whatever you need help with.

I genuinely want you to succeed and perhaps this will give you the push you need to finish and memorize the compositions. The deadline to submit is Feb 22nd, just over two weeks from today. The more time I give you, the more you will procrastinate... it is better to strike when the iron is hot and get it done. Remember, done is better than perfect!!  I hope some of you take me up on this. Send your video links to info@prosadmusic.com (send links, not huge files).

2. Testimonial for a Free Lesson

There is absolutely no pressure to give a testimonial, but if you feel inspired to, I will give a 30min free lesson in exchange for a video testimonial. Just say what you feel and speak from your heart. Please know that it may be used on my website and/or social media accounts. If anyone wants to send a written testimonial, it would be received with gratitude as a thank you. (The free lesson is for video testimonials only).

3. The Audio Files are Up

All the audio files are now edited and available. This may make practice easier (especially for practicing in the car). I suggest getting a program call "Amazing Slow Downer" (available on laptop and phone) or something similar where you can slow down and/or loop specific sections that you want to work on. There are a lot of apps like this, but that is the one I use.

All of the class resources are available for download here: Raga Singing Course Resources

Remember that it will be best to download on a laptop as some of the files are zipped and may be difficult to download and open on a phone. The updated workbook and the technique practice tracks are also there.

4. Help me to serve you better

Thank you so much to the people that filled out my mid-class survey. I read all the entries and they were very helpful. I would be super grateful if you can also fill out a final survey here: Survey

Even if you are still going through the course, don't worry if you didn't finish, just answer based on where you are.

5. Thank You

Once again, I want to sincerely thank you for trusting me on this journey and investing your time and energy. I hope that you got everything you desired out of it! If you want to keep studying, feel free to reach out to me as I could run a more advanced course or I do have a few (limited) spots open for private lessons.

Wishing you all the best on your journey and please keep in touch!

Yours in Music,

Prosad
